LAGRANGE - Aaron Lee Miller, 20, of LaGrange, died Sunday, July 1, in a swimming accident in Tennessee.s
He was born July 28, 1997, to Amos Jay and Mary Ann (Miller) Miller.
Surviving are his parents; sisters Rhonda Bontrager, Katie Glick and Regina Miller; brothers Mahlon, David, Mark, and Matthew Miller; grandparents John and Katie Hochstetler and Elmer and Katie Miller both; and great-grandmother Mary Bontrager.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn brother, Leon Miller, and two grandfathers, Ora N. and Levi A. Miller.
He worked for Power Lite Electrical.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, and all day Thursday, July 5, at the family residence, 4935 W. C.R. 100N, LaGrange.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, also at the family residence.
Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.

LAGRANGE - Barbara J. Miller, 79, of LaGrange, died Monday, May 14, 2018.
She was born Jan. 22, 1939, in Nappanee, to John L. and Mary Ann (Borkholder) Mast.
On Oct. 11, 1962, in Milford, she married Dennis E. Miller; he died Nov. 13, 2017.
Surviving are two sons, LaVern (Mary) and Wilbur (Ruby) Miller; daughter Esther (Maynard) Miller; 16 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Katie Burkholder and Mary Bontrager; and brother Marvin Mast.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; twin grandchildren; two sisters; and four brothers.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, and all day Wednesday, May 16, at the home residence, 1460 S. 300 West, LaGrange.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, also at the home residence.
Burial will be in Beachy Cemetery, LaGrange.

MIDDLEBURY - Barbara W. Miller, 77, of Middlebury, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
She was born Nov. 23, 1940, to William and Ida (Kauffman) Mast.
She married Perry E. Miller; he survives.
Survivors also are daughters LeAnna and Vera Miller and Carolyn Schrock; sons Perry Jr. and Glen Miller; six granddaughters; six grandsons; one great-grandson; brother Ora Mast; and brother-in-law Clarence Gingerich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Melvin King; sister Frieda Gingerich; and nephew Maynard King.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, and all day Thursday, July 12, at the family residence, 11090 W. C.R. 100 S., Middlebury.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 13, also at the family residence.
Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury.

Miller, Brenda Joyce Beachy, 77, of Timberville, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family. Brenda was born in a home on Jan. 26, 1941, in Lancaster, N.Y., to David and Katherine Beachy.
She attended Alden Mennonite School until her junior year, when she transferred to Eastern Mennonite High School as a boarding student. She attended Eastern Mennonite College from 1959-60. Brenda returned to college in 1984 and graduated with a B.S. in elementary education. She taught second grade for 10 years at Luray Elementary School.
Brenda loved God and served him faithfully. She loved Dave. She loved her children and grandchildren and all of her students. Brenda was a musician and enjoyed directing choirs and singing. She delighted in gardening, arranging flowers, road trips, and having company. She enjoyed life and had the ability to make something beautiful out of almost anything. Brenda was an active part of the Windhaven Church and loved serving there in various capacities. In the recent years, Brenda enjoyed quilting and made many quilts for the family. We honor her for her faith and love and service.
On Aug. 4, 1961, she married David Miller, who also survives.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, LuAnn Bender and husband, Eric, of Harrisonburg, Wayne Miller and wife, Beth, of Timberville, Warren Miller and wife, Ellirene, of Homer, Alaska, Rebecca Lyda and husband, Jerald, of Newberg, Ore., and Michael Miller and wife, Denise, of Timberville, Va.; siblings, Connie Alderfer of Bentonville, Ark., Sanford Beachy and wife, Marilyn, of Homer, Alaska, and Warren Beachy and wife, Cris, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; 17 grandchildren, Joseph Bender, Malinda Bender, Mary Leichty and husband, Elliott, Michael Bender, Andrew Miller, Janie Miller, Adam Miller, Joyce Miller, Emerald Jade Miller, Alexis Miller, Alectra Miller, Zachary Lyda, Davin Lyda, Bennett Lyda, Austin Lyda, Warren Miller and Jonas Miller. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Olivia Miller, and a brother-in-law, Ron Alderfer.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at the Windhaven Church, 3606 Turkey Knob Road, Mount Jackson, VA 22842, with Pastor George Brewer officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home.

MILFORD - Clara J. Miller, 86, of Milford, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018.
She was born May 25, 1931, to Jonas D. and Barbara M. (Schmucker) Yoder.
On April 24, 1952, she married Melvin N. Miller. He preceded her in death Aug. 6, 2010.
She is survived by her children, Wayne M. (Barbara L.), LaMar M. (Naomi), Floyd M. (Laureen), Vernon M. (Miriam), Wilma Jean, Omer M. (Virginia), Barbara Ann (Glen R.) and Ernest M. (Esther M.) Miller; 39 grandchildren; 88 great-grandchildren; brother Glenn (Sherrill) Yoder; and a sister-in-law, Wilma Yoder.
Family and friends may call after 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, and all day Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the home residence, 5587 W. 1100 N., Milford. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, at Don Schmucker Residence, 5509 W. 1050 N., Milford.

Miller, D. Paul, 101, of Normal, Illinois passed away on November 3, 2018 at Westminster Village. His memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Normal Mennonite Church. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services.
He was born on August 30, 1917 in Protection, Kansas to David and Maggie Miller and married Anna Wiebe on August 14,1948. Survivors include his daughter; Brenda McCasland (Midway, UT), two sons; Richard (Evanston, IL) and Donald (Midway, UT), six grandchildren; Darrick, Nara, Brian, Christopher, Shanna, and Michelle and two great-grandchildren; Layla and Miles.
D. Paul pursued many interests in life. He rose out of the Dust Bowl as a Mennonite Conscientious Objector, PhD, IWU Professor, mountain climber, gardener, clock repairman, author, and athlete, who loved the woods and most of all people. He will be missed by many.
Memorials may be donated to the Normal Mennonite Church or Camp Friedenswald.

GOSHEN - Dale R. Miller, 64, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1954, in Goshen.
On Nov. 2, 1974, he married Darlene Thomas in Davidsville, Pennsylvania.
She survives along with a son, Matthew (fiancé Natalie Schmucker) Miller of Goshen; a daughter, Kayla (Kenneth) Baker of Dayton, Virginia; and two granddaughters, Kara Baker and Stella Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe R. Miller; his mother, Charlene R. (Knafel) Trainer; and siblings, Dan, Dean, Debbie and Angie Miller.
Dale was a 1973 graduate of Goshen High School and was a member of Waterford Mennonite Church.
He worked for 19 years as a tool and die maker for K.M.C. Controls, New Paris.
Prior to his work at K.M.C he worked 25 years at Behlen Manufacturing.
He enjoyed working in his yard and being with people.
He didn’t know a stranger. He loved his family, with a special place in his heart for his granddaughters.
He and Darlene loved riding his Honda Goldwing.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, funeral also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Baintertown Cemetery, Goshen.

Miller, Daniel A., 84, of Topeka, died at 1:45 pm on Friday [Sept. 14, 2018] at his residence. He was born on December 16, 1933 at his current residence in Topeka to Atlee and Anna (Glick) Miller. On October 29, 1953, in Topeka, he married Ida H. Bontrager, she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are three sons, Herman Miller of LaGrange, Harley (special friend Mary) Miller of Berlin, Ohio, Joe (Mary) Miller of Topeka; five daughters, Pollyanna (Elmer) Kauffman of Princeton, Kentucky, Ruby (Glen) Yoder of Topeka, Esther (Dan) Miller of Millersburg, Ohio, Inez (Omer) Stutzman of Milford, Martha Miller of Elkhart; 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Erma Miller of Berlin, Ohio; brother-in-law, Ervin Miller of Topeka; two sister-in-laws, Orpha Miller of Shipshewana and Elizabeth (Eli) Miller of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Orla and Atlee Miller; grandson, Loren Miller; six brothers, Alton, Orva, Mahlon, Henry, Irvin and Perry Miller; two sisters, Alice Beachy and Rosa Miller.
Daniel had worked as a farmer his entire life and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church, being ordained as a Minister in
1963 and as a Bishop in 1969.
Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 15, and all day Sunday, September 16, at family's residence, 7000 W. 400 S., Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Monday, September 17, also at the family's residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Lee Andrew Yoder and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.

Miller, Dorothy Maxine Gingerich, 88, of Orrville, Wayne Co., OH died January 29, 2018 at Canton, Stark Co., OH. She was born March 10, 1929 at Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Joseph and Volina Gingerich. She was married to Leo Miller, who is deceased.
Surviving are children, Jenell (Doug) Ulrich; Rhonda (Tim) Savage; Gail (Tim) Manickam; and Renee (John) Koshmider; ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

GOSHEN - Eli M. Miller, 81, of Goshen, died Saturday, May 19, 2018.
He was born Nov. 10, 1936, to Mose J. and Amanda J. (Miller) Miller.
He married Mabel Schlabach; she survives.
Survivors also are daughters, Marilyn Miller, Ruth Gingerich, Lorene Beachy, Lora Yoder and Elaine Lambrigh; sons Wayne, Glen, James, Leon and Larry Miller both; 56 grandchildren; brothers John Oren, Dan and Emanuel Miller; sisters Erma Miller and Maudie Raber; sisters-in-law Irma and Clara Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-grandson; two brothers; and a brother-in-law.

Miller, Elizabeth Ann Mast, age 82, of 1529 Beech Rd., Nappanee, died at 6:20 pm, Friday, April 20, 2018 at her residence. She had been in ill health since February. She was born April 2, 1936 in Spartansburg, PA to Uriah A and Lizzie (Slabaugh) Mast. On October 2, 1958, she married Marvin E. E. Miller .
Mrs. Miller lived most of her life in the Nappanee area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Marvin E. E. Miller; children, John Earl (Wanda) Miller, Edna Mae (Henry) Helmuth, Paul (Lora) Miller, Joe (LeAnn) Miller, all of Nappanee, Emery (Cora) Miller, Milford, Norma (Ivan) Kuhns, Bremen; 37 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Mast, Otis Mast, both of Macon, MS, Robert Mast, Osceola, Wilbur (Judy) Mast, Etna Green, Uriah Mast Jr., Nappanee; sister, Nancy Chupp, Eden Valley, MN; brother-in-law, Elva Beechy, Millersburg; and sister-in-laws, Wilma Mast and Betty (Eli) Mast, both of Middlebury. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Wayne Miller; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Buelah Beechy; and brothers, Omar, Joe, Glen, Roman, William, and Samuel Mast.

GOSHEN - Emma Beachy Miller, 93, of Goshen, died peacefully Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born April 23, 1925, in Madison County, Ohio, to Joseph D. and Clara (Miller) Kramer.
Surviving family include five children, Roger (Terry) Beachy of St. Louis, Missouri, Veronica (Wayne) Denlinger of Goshen, Phillip Beachy, Auburn of Washington, Jeffrey (Margaret) Beachy of West Linn, Oregon and Kenneth Beachy of Goshen; six stepchildren, Georgia (Glenn) Davis, Glenda (Elroy) Miller, Gordon (Sharon) Miller, and Gina (Clark) Coburn, all of Goshen, Gerald (Danette) Miller of Oregon, and Galen (Rhonda) Miller of Constantine, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Greencroft Terraces Meetinghouse, 1225 Greencroft Drive, Goshen.

Miller, Emma Kramer, 93, of Goshen, Elkhart Co., IN died August 23, 2018 at the same place. She was born April 23, 1925 in Madison Co., OH to Joseph D. and Clara (Miller) Kramer. On December 27, 1974 at Goshen she was married to George S. Miller, who died June 4, 2015.
Surviving are children, Roger (Terry) Beachy, St. Louis, Missouri; Veronica (Wayne) Denlinger, Goshen; Phillip Beachy, Auburn, Washington: Jeffrey (Margaret) Beachy, West Linn, Oregon; and Kenneth Beachy, Goshen; six stepchildren, Georgia (Glenn) Davis, Glenda (Elroy) Miller, Gordon (Sharon) Miller, and Gina (Clark) Coburn all of Goshen, Gerald (Danette) Miller, Oregon, and Galen (Rhonda) Miller, Constantine, Michigan; seven grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a sister, Katherine Beachy, Morehead, Minnesota.
On April 26, 1942, Emma married the Rev. Neil E. Beachy in Plain City, Ohio. He died in an auto accident in 1963.
In addition to her husbands a daughter, Leah Beachy, two step-grandchildren, Tyler Coburn and Jenessa Miller; three sisters, Inez Frey, Mary Sawyer and Frances Hostetler; a brother, Eli Kramer; half-sister, Barbara Walz; and half-brother, J. Daniel Kramer preceded her in death.
The family remembers and honors their Mother for her boundless love and strength of character in the way she raised her six children following Neil's untimely death. Emma was God-loving, without pride, accepted all people, loved all her children fiercely, and provided normalcy in their upbringing far beyond her circumstances. She enjoyed reading and loved to sing, participating in the Goshen Community choir during the 1980s. Mrs. Miller retired from Universal Cooperatives, Goshen, where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a member of College Mennonite Church.
Memorial services were held September 8, 2018 at Greencroft Health, Goshen, IN.

Freeman A. Miller, 57, of Middlebury, died at 3:57 am on Friday, at the scene of an auto-bicycle accident on State Road 13, Middlebury. He was born on December 26, 1960 in, LaGrange County, to Andrew S. and Barbara (Miller) Miller. On October 20, 1983 in Elkhart County he married Joann Miller; she survives.

(Lamar Lynn) Schrock of Goshen, Amy Marie Miller and Miriam Jo Miller, both at home; son, Oren Lee (Leann Jo) Miller of Shipshewana; five grandchildren, Arlin, Julie and Karl Schrock, Christopher and Bethany Miller; his mother Barbara Miller of Goshen; seven brothers, Dennis (Ruth Ann) Miller of Ligonier, Olen Jay (Anna Mae) Miller of Goshen, Joseph (Rosetta) Miller of LaGrange, Herman (Rosa) Miller of Goshen, Homer (Rebekah Lynn) Miller of Plains, MT, Walter (Erma) Miller and LaVern (Lovina

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Katie Marie Miller. He had been working at Ward Industries and Steel Master.

Miller, Gladys A. Bauman Bontrager

GOSHEN - Gladys A. Bontrager Miller, 82, of Goshen and Sarasota, Florida, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, while on a cruise off the coast of Chile.
The cruise was a gift from Gladys to her husband John celebrating his 90th birthday.
She was born Oct. 27, 1935, in Nappanee, to Amos and Mabel (Ramer) Bauman.
On Nov. 20, 1955, she married Orval D. Bontrager in Goshen. He died Oct. 15, 1998. She married John C. Miller on March 26, 2005.
He survives along with her sons, Greg (Rita) Bontrager of Goshen, Gary (Stacey) Bontrager of Hawaii and Doug (Karen) Bontrager of Goshen; stepchildren Cheryl Miller of Fremont, Ohio, Karen (Robert) Kubota of Lowell, Ohio, Gary (Connie) Miller of Goshen, Randy Miller of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Timothy (Janet) Miller of Columbia, Kansas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters Carol Miller of Wolcottville and Norma Bontrager of Goshen.
Along with her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Slabaugh and a brother, Donald Bauman.
Gladys was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a charter member of East Goshen Mennonite Church.
A member of the Busy Bee Homemakers Club, she had the honor of being named Homemaker of the Year for the Elkhart County Fair.
She also worked for several years at Bethany Christian Schools.
She was a cake decorator for 28 years, adding to the joy of birthdays, weddings and many special occasions.
She was trained in grief counseling and brought care to those experiencing loss.
Gladys’ family would describe her as a friend to those who needed a friend; very generous; a good listener; supportive and proud of her boys and their families; and fun loving.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at East Goshen Mennonite Church, 17861 S. R. 4, Goshen, and from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, funeral at the church.
Pastors Naomi Yoder and Merle Hostetler will officiate.
Burial will follow in Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen.

Gladys L. Miller, 67 Sarasota, Florida formerly of Shipshewana, Indiana was born on February 1, 1951 to Levi U. and Verna E. (Miller) Miller.
Gladys is survived by a daughter Mary Elaine Miller of Sarasota four brothers; Ura L. Miller of Sarasota, Perry (Esther) Miller of Shipshewana, Levi (Betty) Miller Jr. of LaGrange and Floyd (Jean) Miller of Wolcottville and two sisters Mary (Melvin) Miller and Irene Miller (special friend Edward Slabach Jr.) of Shipshewana and nine nephews and eight nieces and twenty-seven great nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Sarasota Amish Church.
The viewing will be at Tourist Mennonite Church Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be at the Tourist Mennonite Church Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. with the burial to follow at Sunny side Mennonite Cemetery.
Gladys is predeceased in death by her parents and one sister in law Katie Miller and three great nieces.

GOSHEN - Ida W. Miller, 88, of Goshen, died at 9:10 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 22, 1930 in LaGrange to William J. and Anna (Bontrager) Yoder. On Jan. 31, 1952, she married Harvey L. Miller, he survives.

Jo Ann (Swartzentruber) Miller, of Goshen, passed away on December 31, 2018 at Manor II, Greencroft at 70 years of age. She was born January 20, 1948 near Riverside, Iowa to Ivan L. and Alma (Borntrager) Swartzentruber.
She grew up on a turkey farm and attended Boone School #5 with her siblings, the same school her father, mother, and great-grandmother attended. She enjoyed spending time with her family and quilting.
She will be sadly missed by her by two daughters and two sons from her marriage to Leonard Miller: Lois (Colleen Dyck) Miller, Saskatchewan, Canada; Rhoda Jean (Jerry) Franklin, Millersburg; Matthew J. He was born Oct. 29, 1933, to Simon and Lizzie (Borkholder) Miller.
Surviving are a sister, Pollyanna Bowman; two brothers, Ervin (Margaret) and Amos (Janet) Miller; two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Mary Anna Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Freeman and Andrew Miller; brother-in-law Dan Bowman; and sister-in-law Edna Mae Miller.
John was a rug weaver and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 and all day Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Vernon Bontrager residence, 54244 C.R. 43, Middlebury.

NAPPANEE - Katie Marie Miller, 75 years and 11 days, of Nappanee, died at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born, March 4, 1943, in LaGrange County, to Amos A. and Sarah Edna (Schrock) Bontrager.
On May 9,1963, she married Levi “Lee” Miller.
Surviving are her husband, Levi of Nappanee; four children, Sara Jean (John) Hochstetler of Nappanee, Jerry Lee (Erma) Miller of Shipshewana, Joe Allen (Alma) Miller of Nappanee and John James (Julie) Miller of Middlebury; four siblings, Anna Sue Lambright of Shipshewana, Orva J. (Elsie) Bontrager of Shipshewana, Wilma (Casper) Hochstetler of Shipshewana and Elmer Dean (Louise) Bontrager of Sarasota, Florida; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a great-grandchild, Olivia Miller, and a brother-in-law, Menno Lambright.
Katie was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church, Nappanee.
Visitation will be all-day Saturday, March 17 at Joe and Alma Miller’s residence, 70951 C.R. 9, Nappanee.
A funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 18, also at 70951 C.R .9, Nappanee.

Miller, Landis L., 88, of Manheim, died peacefully at home on Friday, November 30, 2018. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Abram C. and Emma E. Landis Miller. Landis was the husband of Vera Hershey Miller; and God blessed them with 67 years together. For over 50 years he worked faithfully as a plumber and electrician in the surrounding community. Landis was a member of the White Oak Mennonite Church, Manheim.
Surviving in addition to his wife Vera, are two sons: David A. husband of Esther Nolt Miller, of Manheim, H. Stephen husband of Esther Weaver Miller, of Manheim, 11 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, a brother James L. husband of Grace Miller of New Oxford, and a brother-in-law, Menno N. Rissler of Versailles, MO. Preceding him in death is a daughter, Rachel F. Krahn, a sister, Lois E. Rissler, and two brothers: Lester and Abram Miller.

On June 15, 1961, she married Perry M. Miller; he died May 4, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, Glen (Margaret) and Gerald (Ruby) Miller; two daughters, Naomi (Rustin) Biberston and Suvilla (Clyde) Otto; 16 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

GOSHEN - LaVern James “Jim” Miller, 72, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 6, 2018.
He was born Aug. 16, 1945, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Clarence and Della (Shrock) Miller.
On June 28, 1969, he married Josephine “Jo” Stutzman at Clinton Frame Church.
She survives along with three children, Nancy (Jim) Reiff of Warsaw, Scott (Sarah) Miller of Middlebury and Tim (Tiffany) Miller of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Elma (Ray) Delagrange of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sonny Miller.
A retired farmer, Jim was a member of Clinton Frame Church and a talented and successful shuffleboard player.
He was inducted into both the Florida and Michigan Shuffleboard Halls of Fame.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Clinton Frame Church followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service.

On Nov. 18, 1951 she married Reuben J. Miller. He died Feb. 15, 2001.
She is survived by daughter, Cheryl (Lee) Bontrager; son, Jerry Miller; grandchild, Yvonne (Keith) Pasqualone; great-grandchildren, Keith Aaron Pasqualone III and Silas Paul Pasqualone; sister, Annabelle Cripe; sister-in-laws, Clara Burkholder and Anna Mae Burkholder.

LIGONIER - Melissa Jo Miller, 15, of Ligonier, died at 5:50 a.m. Saturday at the scene of a buggy/vehicle accident at 5185 W. C.R. 800S, Topeka.
Her mother died in the same accident.
Melissa was born on Jan. 18, 2003, in LaGrange to Ervin H. and Velda C. (Yoder) Miller.
Surviving are her father of Ligonier; two brothers, Jeremy (Dorene) Miller of Topeka, Joel (Mary) Miller of Ligonier; grandparents, Chris and Katie Yoder of Shipshewana, Harley and Esther Miller of Ligonier; great-grandmother, Lizzie Miller of Ligonier.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Ervin A. Miller.
Melissa had just completed the eighth grade at Elm View School.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. on Monday, June 11, and all day Tuesday, June 12, at the family’s residence, 7455 S. C.R. 400W, Ligonier. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, also at the family’s residence.

He married Nellie Ruth Lambright; she survives.

Miller, Paul K., 80, of Dublin, Bucks Co., PA died May 20, 2018 at Souderton Mennonite Home, Souderton, PA. He was born October 1, 1937 at Dublin to John O. and Edna (Kulp) Miller. He was married to Arlene Landes, who survives.
Surviving are children, Brenda Krupp, Fort Collins, CO; and Brian Miller, Perkasie, PA; and two grandchildren.
A son, Kenneth Miller and a sister, Anna Rice preceded him in death.

Paul K. Miller, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the Souderton Mennonite Homes, Franconia Twp., PA. He was 80.
He was the husband of Arlene L. (Landes) Miller. The couple had celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on April 15, 2018.
Born in Dublin, PA, he was the son of the late John O. and Edna A. (Kulp) Miller.
He served with the 1-W Service at the General Rose Hospital, Denver, CO, from 1958 to 1960.
Mr. Miller worked in the Maintenance Department at Christopher Dock High School, Lansdale, PA, for 19 years until retiring in 2016. Previously, he was employed by the former American Olean Tile Co., Lansdale, from 1986 to 1996, and for Vogel & Feingold, Telford, PA, from 1961 to 1986.
He was a member of Deep Run Mennonite Church East, Perkasie, PA, and a former member of the Salem Mennonite Church, Shelly, PA.
Mr. Miller volunteered every Tuesday and Thursday with the Mennonite Central Committee Material Resource Center, Souderton, PA. An avid reader, especially of his Bible, he enjoyed gardening, farming and doing puzzles.
Surviving with his wife are two children, Brenda Sue Krupp, of Fort Collins, CO, and Brian Dale Miller, of Perkasie; and two grandchildren, Micah Carlton and Josiah Kenneth. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Miller, in October 2016, three brothers and three sisters.
His Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Deep Run Mennonite Church East, 350 Kellers Church Road, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

Miller, Perry Jay, 75, of Middlebury died at 1:53 pm on Monday, November 19, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend from injuries he suffered in a fall at his residence last Wednesday.
He was born on October 28, 1943 in LaGrange County to Enos and Katie (Wingard) Miller. On April 28, 1966 in Middlebury he married Esther Miller, she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, Maynard (Darlene) Miller; four daughters, Kathy (LaVern) Yoder, Karen (Herman) Miller, Nora Miller, Doretta (Martin) Wingard all of Middlebury; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd (Debbie) Miller and Dennis (Pam) Miller all of Shipshewana; two sisters, Viola (Levi) Troyer and Laura (Floyd) Yoder all of Middlebury; a sister-in-law, Ada Miller of Shipshewana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Mari Esther Miller; and a brother, Samuel Miller.
Perry was currently working at L&W Engineering, Middlebury and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Miller, Phineas, Jr., 66, of Hartville, Stark Co., OH died April 3, 2018 at Akron, Summit Co., OH. He was born August 25, 1951 at Canton, Stark Co., OH to Phineas and Emma (Schlabaugh) Miller. On April 28, 1972 he was married to Sylvia Yoder, who was born February 25, 1951 and survives.
Surviving are children, Steven (Holly) Miller; Ryan (Heidi) Miller; and Matthew Miller; seven grandchildren, and siblings, William (Alta) Miller; Alta Hershberger; Miriam Yoder; Glen (Marie) Miller; Nelson (Betty) Miller; Rhoda (Paul) Yoder; Mary (Larry) Johnson; Martha (Alan) DiGiovanni; and Elsie (Kermit) Zimmerman.

Miller, Sarah Mae Shrock, 91, of Hartville, Stark Co., OH went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family June 19, 2018 at the same place. She was born April 27, 1927 at Middlefield, Geauga Co., OH. On December 10, 1950 at Hartville she was married to Howard R. Miller, Sr., who was born February 20, 1931 and died May 27, 2001.
Surviving are children, Carol and Vernon Sommers; Howard and Marsha Miller; Wayne and Kim Miller; Ruby and Rich Wittmer; Nancy and Marion Coblentz; Marlene and Blaine Miller; 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Wittmer, nd Erma Beachy, and brothers, Noah (Dorothy) Shrock, Melvin (Mary Ellen) Shrock, and Henry (Dorothy) Shrock; brothers-in-law, Ervin Helmuth, LeRoy Yoder, and Harold (JoAnn) Miller; and sisters-in-law, Alice Sommers and Mabel Campbell.
Siblings, Raymond Shrock, Emma Beachy, Mary Helmuth and Martha Beachy preceded her in death.

Sonja Lee Miller, 79, of Lower Swatara,Twp. Dauphin Co., PA died September 14, 2018 at the Harrisburg Hospital. She was born October 28, 1938 in Middletown, PA to Earl Shelley and Dorothy Garber Otis.
She was a member of the Steelton Mennonite Church Steelton, PA. where she also participated in Bible Study and the former Penny Power Project. She enjoyed reading, going with her sisters and brothers, and walking.
In addition to her parents, Sonja was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Rife and a sister-in-law, Hellen Shelley.
Sonja is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Glenn S. Miller Sr.; two sons, Glenn S. Miller Jr. and his wife Cindy of Elizabethtown and Gary W. Miller of Lower Swatara; two brothers, Earl Shelley and William Otis Sr. and three sisters, Dawn Eshelman, Lana Weidner and Darlene Hostetter.
A memorial service was September 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown with the Rev. Victor Romain officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

LIGONIER - Velda C. Miller, 44, of Ligonier died at 5:50 a.m. on Saturday at the scene of a buggy/vehicle accident at 5185 W. C.R. 800S, Topeka.
Her daughter, Melissa Miller, died in the same accident.
Velda was born on Oct. 15, 1973, in LaGrange to Chris and Katie (Beachy) Yoder. On June 28, 1995, in Shipshewana, she married Ervin H. Miller, who survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband are two sons, Jeremy (Dorene) Miller of Topeka and Joel (Mary) Miller of Ligonier; her parents of Shipshewana; six brothers, Glen (Vera) Yoder of Shipshewana, Gerald (Darla) Yoder of Goshen, LaVern (Kathy) Yoder of Middlebury, Marlin (Mary) Yoder of Shipshewana, Levi (Cheryle) Yoder of Shipshewana, Christy (Ruth) Yoder Jr. of Shipshewana; four sisters, Rosemary (Allen) Bontrager of Middlebury, Waneta (Wilbur) Nisley of Goshen, Erma (Maynard) Yoder of Topeka, Vera (Larry) Yoder of Shipshewana; and many nieces and nephews.
Velda was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday, June 11, and all day Tuesday, June 12, at the family's residence, 7455 S. C.R. 400W, Ligonier. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, also at the family's residence.

Miller, Vera Irene Yoder, 77, Ligonier, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at her residence in Ligonier. She was born June 29, 1941, to the late William D. and Susie J. (Yoder) Yoder in Yoder, Kan. On Oct. 13, 1960, she married Mervin M. Miller.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Mervin M. Miller; parents: William and Susie Yoder; siblings: Daniel W. Yoder, Joseph W. Yoder, Herman W. Yoder, Amos W. Yoder, Perry W. Yoder, Katie W. Cross, Sadie W. Summerlot, Ora W. Yoder, Felty W. Yoder, Betsy W. Fry, Clara W. Slabach, Susana W. Keim, Elmer W. Yoder, Edna Fern Miller, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the family residence, 4759 W 1100 N, Ligonier, IN 46746, after 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, and all day Saturday, Sept. 15.

Mininger, Arlene Stover, 86, of Souderton, Montgomery Co., PA died February 7, 2018 at the same place. She was born March 13, 1931 at Telford, Montgomery Co., PA to Edwin and Eva (Clemmer) Stover. On February 3, 1951 she was married to Charles N. Mininger, who was born October 24, 1931 and died August 8, 2017.
Surviving are a son, Jay Mininger and his wife Kelly; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Stover and wife Donna and sister, Linda Nyce.
Her siblings, Betty Grasse, Janet Eash, Mary Landes, and Arden Stover preceded her in death.

LAGRANGE - Daniel Lee Mishler, 63, of LaGrange, died Thursday, July 5, 2018.
He was born July 4, 1955, to Harry F. and Mattie (Lambright) Mishler.
He married Ella J. Yoder; she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are three daughters, Leah Miller of Middlebury, Rachel Mast and Magdalena Mishler; sons Joseph, Nathan, John, Paul, Daniel and Andrew Mishler; 24 grandchildren; sisters Rosa and Edna Mae Yoder; and brothers Ora Jay, Harry Jr., John Ray Mishler and Joseph Jr. Hostetler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; a brother; and four infant siblings.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, and all day Saturday, July 7, at the family residence, 1560 W. C.R. 150N, LaGrange.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 8, also at the family residence.

Mishler, Esther Louise Yoder
Nov. 30, 1935 - Nov. 9, 2018
Esther Louise Yoder Mishler, 83, formerly of Shipshewana, passed away peacefully at The Green House Village, Goshen after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on November 30, 1935, in LaGrange, IN to John and Jennie Hostetler Yoder. She lived and worked her whole life in the Shipshewana area. Esther attended Goshen College in 1954 for one year receiving a secretarial certificate after which she was employed by Wolfe Grain Co. in Shipshewana.
In 1956, Esther was married to Gerald Leroy Mishler on October 6. Gerald and Esther were married for 31 years and had four children. They worked together for many years in farming. They were co-owners of Mishler Insurance Service. Esther also was co-owner with her husband and son of the Buggy Wheel Restaurant and Morton Street Bed and Breakfast, and the Bread Box Bakery in Shipshewana for several years.
She enjoyed and took pride in working in her flower beds and making them look beautiful. Esther loved hosting international students in her home with Christmas International House and also hosted two MCC Trainees from the Netherlands and Taiwan. Esther thrived as she served her family well, made regular visits to the elderly from her community in nursing homes, opened her home to singles and families who needed a temporary place to live, and often reached out to those less fortunate than herself. Many of her grandkids were babysat by her and all of them have special memories of baking and decorating Christmas cookies with Grandma.
Esther is survived by her four children and their spouses. Jerold (Laura) Mishler, Joel (Kim) Mishler, Jennifer (Jere) Steiner, and Jane (Dennis) Bontrager. She has 12 grandchildren: Andrea (Jon) Sponsler, Gretchen (Carl) Parker, Emily (Alex) Gorsuch, Nicolas Mishler, Zachary Mishler, Hannah Mishler, Caleb (Kelsey) Maloney-Steiner, Tyler Steiner, Grace Steiner, Megan Bontrager, Molly Bontrager, and Melinda Bontrager. Esther enjoyed visits with her 7 great grandchildren: Hollis, Rogan, and Hazel Sponsler, Levi and Quinn Parker, and Willow and Edison Gorsuch. Rosalie Yoder, a sister-in-law, also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, on June 1, 1988, her brothers, Robert and Orris, a sister, Sara Francis, a niece, Rachel Yoder, sister-in-law, Doris Yoder and her parents, John and Jennie Yoder.
Esther, a believer and follower of Jesus, was a member of Shore Church most of her life. She was a faithful example to her family of how to put God and others first, love everyone, and walk in forgiveness. She taught Sunday School, vacation Bible School, and served on many different committees. Esther found joy in singing with her husband and close friends from Shore Church in an octet and occasionally with her family.
Visitation with Esther's family will be held from 2 - 7 pm on Tuesday, November 13, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Family and friends may gather at Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana for a 10:00 am graveside service on Wednesday, November 14; following burial, a celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 am at Shore Church with Pastor Carl Horner officiating. A fellowship meal will follow and all are welcome.
Memorial contributions in Esther's memory can be given to the The Green House Village of Goshen Music Fund for special events for the elders or Shipshewana Ministerial Association, c/o of Shore Church.
Moore, Mildred "Millie" L. Landis, 87, of Souderton, Montgomery Co., PA died January 17, 2018 at the same place. She was born December 22, 1930 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA to Paul R. and Anna (Barndt) Landis. On June 21, 1952 she was married to J. Henry Moore, who was born September 11, 1930 and survives.
Surviving are children, Jeryl L. Moore and wife Geraldine; Glenna L. Webster and husband Scott; and Lori J. Gerhart and husband Roger; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and siblings, Richard Landis; Franklin Landis and wife Virginia; and Gladys Alderfer.
A son-in-law, Daniel Alderfer, a sister, Arlene Landis; brother-in-law, Willard Alderfer, and a sister-in-law, Doris Landis preceded her in death.

Moore, Miriam Elizabeth Connor, 96, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on June 22nd, 2018. She was born in Lincoln to the late Harry D. and Sally Shirk Connor and was a lifetime resident of this area. Miriam led an active lifestyle and was known for her hard work. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and keeping her home in pristine condition.
Miriam leaves behind her daughters, Brenda, wife of Frank Cover of Mountville, Deborah, wife of Rick Boyer of Lancaster; her grandchild, April, wife of Alex Voloshin of Lancaster; one great-grandchild, Freya Voloshin of Lancaster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Moore; her son, Richard Moore; her daughter, Robin Lynn Moore; twelve siblings. Moyer, Burnell Mann, 73, of Manheim passed away at his home on Monday, January 22, 2018. Born in Rapho Township, he was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Ruth Mann Moyer. He was the loving husband of Erma J. Gingrich Moyer and they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in October of last year. Retired in 2012, Burnell worked 46 years at B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., Manheim. He was a member of Hernley Mennonite Church, Manheim. His interests included woodworking, traveling and he loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Kevin B. husband of Ruthie Hoover Moyer of Montana, J. Leslie Moyer of Manheim and Sherrie Lynn wife of George Popp Jr. of Bainbridge, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five brothers, Carl husband of Helen Moyer, Earl Moyer, Glenn husband of Shirley Moyer all of Manheim, Harold husband of Alta Moyer of Mount Joy, Lamar husband of Sally Moyer of Marietta, a sister, Elsie wife of Lowell Stauffer of Narvon and sister-in-law, Naomi Moyer of Lebanon. Moyer, Diane Ruth Moyer, 72, of Harleysville, PA died June 29, 2018 at the same place. She was born April 17, 1946 at Quakertown, PA to Glendon and Ruth (Moyer) Moyer. On April 17, 1965 she was married to Steven Jay Moyer, who was born October 7, 1943 and survives.
Surviving are children, Jennifer Lynn Moyer and her husband Todd; and Jayme Diane Jordan; four grandchildren; and siblings, Dennis R. Moyer and his wife Kathy, Douglas R. Moyer and his wife Dolores “Suzy”, Debbie R. Johnson and her husband Mark.

Moyer, Mildred Virginia Shenk, 98, of Harrisonburg, Va., passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community. She was born in Denbigh, Va., on Nov. 14, 1920, the seventh child of Levi and Amanda Yoder Shenk. On June 18, 1941, she married Sylvanus Moyer Moyer, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2009.
Mildred loved and served her family, friends and church as a godly, efficient homemaker and farmer’s wife. They lived in Denbigh, Powhatan, and Harrisonburg, as well as a year of voluntary service in Canada. Family and faith in God were her main focus in life.
She is survived by children, Milton Moyer and his wife, Barbara, Ronald Moyer and his wife, Rosalie, David Moyer and his wife, Nancy, Raymond Moyer and his wife, Donna, and Esther Erb and her husband, Paul; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Godshall and Miriam Baer; brother, John Shenk; and a loving extended family.

Moyer, Verda Fay Good, 93, of Perkasie, PA died December 3, 2018 at the same place. She was born August 12, 1925 at Rantoul, Illinois to Leroy and Leah (Eichelberger) Good. On August 14, 1954 she was married to T. Carroll Moyer, who was born August 4, 1924 and survives.
Surviving are a son, Lon Moyer & wife, Stacy; and one grandchild.
Her siblings, Marian Zehr; Eunice Birky; Lloyd Good; and her twin sister, Verna Birkey preceded her in death.

Mullet, Diana, 11, of Goshen died at 6:32 pm on Friday, March 16 at Goshen Hospital from complications of a brain tumor that she was diagnosed with in November 2017. She was born on July 17, 2006, in Goshen to Marion and Rosetta (Miller) Mullet.
Surviving in addition to her parents are eight brothers, Nathan (Kayla) Mullet of Goshen, Loren (Ida) Mullet of Bristol, Myron Mullet, Maynard Mullet, Steven Mullet, Lavon Mullet, Orlan Mullet, Darin Mullet all at home; three sisters, Regina (Kevin) Miller of Goshen, Laura (special friend Devon Lambright) Mullet, Leann Mullet, both at home; grandparents, Elmer and Marilyn Miller of Goshen and Enos and Polly Mullet of Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, LeAnna Mullet.
Diana had been in the 5th grade at Millersburg Elementary School.

He was born Oct. 7, 1925, to Absolam and Fannie (Shetler) Mullet.
He married Ella Schlabach.
Surviving are daughters Elsie Schrock, Esther Headings and Martha Stutzman; sons Paul Mullet, Willie Mullet and Myron Mullet; 21 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; brother Jacob Mullet; and sister-in-law Eudora Mullet.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather John S. Miller; wife; great-grandson Jordan Sensenig; sisters Anna Weaver, Katie Yoder and Ella Yoder; brothers Simon, Dan, and Henry Mullet; and stepsister Sarah Stutzman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, and from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Townline Mennonite Church, Shipshewana.

She was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Sumner County, Kansas, to Joe and Mary (Miller) Miller.
She married Albert E. Mullet; he survives.
Survivors also are daughters, Carolyn Schwartz, Velma Schwartz, Marilyn Miller and Vera Lehman; sons Kenny and Merlin Mullet; 18 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; sister Lydia Lehman; and brother Clarence Miller.

Musser with whom she was married for 58 years. She was born in Hinkletown on March 8, 1939, a daughter of the late Elam N. and Ruth Anna Good Hoover. She was a member of the Mt. View Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.

Musser, Samuel G., 81, born February 20, 1937, in Warwick Township, PA, entered into eternal rest, passing away at Good Samaritan Hospital, July 6, 2018. He was the son of the late Edwin and Anna (Garman) Musser. On November 30, 1957 he married Marian B. Weaver, daughter of the late Melvin and Edwina Weaver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children: Lena Mae (Chester Hoover) Ephrata, PA; S. Musser, V. Mildred Sensenig, 91, of Ephrata, formerly of Manheim, passed away on, Monday, July 9, 2018, at Fairmount Homes.
She was born in W. Earl Twp. to the late Hershey B. and Violet (Wanner) Sensenig and was the wife of the late David S. Musser who passed away in 2011.
She was a member of Pequea Mennonite Church, Gordonville.
Mildred was a homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Mildred is survived by 5 sons, Eugene S., husband of Martha W. (Martin) Musser of Lititz, David S. Musser, Jr., Gerald S., husband of Darla R. (Nolt) Musser, Merle S., husband of Vera K. (Sensenig) Musser, Wilmer S., husband of Janelle L. (Garman) Musser, all of Ephrata; 4 daughters, Mary Jane, wife of Arthur W. Hoover of East Earl, Brenda Mae, wife of Aaron H. Burkholder of Lititz, Doris Jean, wife of Lewis H. Zimmerman of Denver, Joanne S., wife of Ray S. Martin of Myerstown; a foster daughter, Mary Elizabeth Holloway of New Holland; 36 grandchildren; 2 foster grandchildren; 132 great-grandchildren; 5 foster great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Erla Sensenig of New Holland, Irene Shirk of Ephrata; step-sister-in-law, Eva Garman of Denver; 2 brothers-in-law, John Horst of Goodville and John Nolt of Lebanon.
She was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Leonard S. Musser; 2 infant brothers; 2 infant sisters; 4 brothers, Paul W., H. Ivan, David W. and Aaron W. Sensenig; 6 sisters, Anna Mae Garman, Ada B. Zimmerman, Gracetta Zimmerman, Edna Auker, Elva Horst and Viola Nolt.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 9:00 AM with further services at 10:00 AM at the Pequea Mennonite Church, 4121 Redwell Road, Gordonville, with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
